Story:

In 1997-98, in Ukraine, I tried to create a Level 2 Compiler = a program that, based on command-sentences given in natural language, wrote "High-level" computer programs.
The difference from the Level 1 Compiler was that the Level 1 Compiler "translates" individual command words into machine codes (level 1 programming language).
I tried to create a compiler that translated into a programming language of the 2nd level - whole sentences written in a completely natural human language.
The Level 2 compiler was a semantic analyzer.
Natural language sentences already have a certain structure. -
People understand each other when they build their sentences in a certain order.
However, natural language syntax is very flexible - its rules are very arbitrary.
The vocabulary of my Semantic Compiler was 20 words.
Its scope was limited to - social security - social security of the population.
And even so, he constantly "stupid" - often did not understand quite natural permutations of words.
AI was needed - for a full-fledged Semantic Analyzer.
Actually, the Semantic Analyzer should be the main direction of AI .

When I was in the 10th grade of school, I was "delirious" about space flights.
I entered the rocket science faculty of the university.
After graduation, I was left at the faculty to continue my scientific career.
However, I experienced 2 disappointments:
1. Organization of scientific research.
2. Space flights.

1. Disappointment - Organization of scientific research:
1.1. Scientific topics and questions were imposed on me:
In my 3rd year, I moved to the department of design, but this did not help.
- Only the topics of student work are chosen relatively freely - further scientific research is imposed by the state. order .
I had to do almost pure mathematics at the most "cool" level.
Truesdell's "Continuum Mechanics" (" A first course in rational continuum mechanics "C Truesdell , 1972) still has occasional nightmares.
1.2. There was no one to discuss scientific questions with.
I "stewed in my own juice."
Scientific specialization was imposed hierarchically. -
Numerous ideas and questions could be discussed only through the imposed "scientific adviser", who, in turn, raised questions - "by authority".
Yes, there were informal contacts.
The KGB and the CPSU were forced to endure them, because. science in the USSR actually rested on them.
However, this was already the art of intrigue, which I never mastered.

2. Disappointment - Space flights:
Romance was successfully exploited by propaganda.
The romance of space flights is good, but there were more important problems - social ones.
In 1984-85 I saw the anti-economic nature of the economy of the USSR ( see Alternative Perestroika Anti-Economics.docx ) and even wanted to re-enter the Faculty of Economics.
In 2017, I saw the main threat - the death of Humanity as a result of the use of super-AI against people.

Yes, what I write looks like amateurishness. However:

1. In the "Russian world" there are completely different problems than in the West. Western research and development on Citizen Science and the "Deliberative Network" must be strongly adapted to the conditions of Russia, etc. states.
2. And you try in my place. -
In 1990, when I began to deal with this issue, Western studies were not available to me. I had to "reinvent the wheel".
For 20 years, as I have been following the Internet, the sphere related to the "Deliberative Network" has grown tenfold.
It has existed before. Just migrated to the Internet.
It turned out that the issues that I have been dealing with since 1990 have been studied for a long time and in depth.
I had access to information, but I could not establish contacts. - I wrote to ≈ 500 E -addresses - it's useless. I was banned from ≈ 50 web forums . Banned 5 of my Facebook accounts, etc. Now it turns out that among the moderators of forums and social networks there is a significant proportion of terrorists.

What is important is not what I am trying to analyze, and not what I propose, but the problems that I raise.
The main problem of science is that the existing scientific organizations are engaged in social. problems are inadequate, and their organizations themselves are inadequate.
And this is in the "democratic" world.
In the authoritarian world, however, social science, where it is most needed, does not exist at all.

It is simply unrealistic for me to adapt Western science to the "Russian World" alone.
Yes, I write a lot - out of "inertia" - it is difficult for me to change the thoughts that I have come to for decades. -
- Not only is it difficult for me to adapt Western science to the "Russian World" on my own, but even to adapt myself.
To do this, I need to study huge amounts of information.
Only in the last 5 years they have grown several times - on the Internet.
At the same time, I am constantly physically disturbed and "confusing" virtually by very "strange" personalities.
Also, unlike Western scientists, I have to earn a living. Earnings in the "Russian World" are several times lower, despite the fact that some prices are even higher. For example, when I lived in Ukraine - my salary per day as a full-time IT programmer was less than the price of 2-3 loaves of bread in 1995 - food had to be grown in the "dacha".
For example, then I created a "3rd level programming language" - a compiler program that, according to the instructions given by natural human language, wrote programs in a 2nd = "high level" language. (An example of a 1st level language is Assembler , a 2nd level language is Fortran ). At the same time, I raised my daughter without a wife. The wife left, because I didn't earn much.
By the way, I worked full-time, sometimes for 1.5 - all my life, except for the Covid -19 gap.

Of course, I must make mistakes - after all, in 40 years I have not received a single gram of positively constructive criticism on the merits.

Yes, now I'm trying to deal not so much with academic research as with organizational issues, and just trying to establish personal contacts.
And it is necessary to separate the problems that I pose and the solutions that I propose.
In addition, completely independent reflections may be of interest even to scientists in the West, who are also "boiling in their own juice."
